Penacho's is the best downtown! The customer service is to die for. Our family visits on a regular basis. Each time we are treated special and will return many more times. They welcome families and romantic dinners just the same.......I would recommend this place to all!

Taco Bell is fine at 2:00 a.m. when you just left the bar and you have the munchies. But it's NOT Mexican food. I spent a summer traveling across Mexico several years ago, and I can tell you, Penachos is authentic Mexican food. It's a family-run restaurant and the owners really go out of their way to please their customers, which is a pretty rare thing these days. I've eaten in there three times and each time the both the food and service were great. Occasionally they have special entertainment of one sort or another. Also, they're right downtown on Woodland so easy to get to.
